Southbank, Leeds
For over 15 years, Creative Space Management has played a crucial role in establishing a vibrant mixed-use quarter centred around creative and digital workspaces in the former Holbeck Urban Village, now part of the Southbank Leeds regeneration area known as Temple.
Their success has transformed local values and attracted substantial development that will impact the city centre for decades.
Starting in 2003, the Creative Space Management team launched Round Foundry Media Centre, a serviced office space exclusively for TMT businesses. This initiative sparked a cluster effect across the local area, with businesses growing and generating thousands of jobs. Notable occupiers include True North and Flashtalking. Creative Space Management also developed the vision for and managed Tower Works, which reached full occupancy within a year of opening in 2014.
In total, Creative Space Management let 210,000 sf / 19,510 sm of business space, accommodating around 3,250 jobs and contributing £220m GVA. The company’s work has been pivotal in the neighbourhood’s growth and prosperity.
