Tower Works Wins Best Altered Building at Leeds Architecture Awards

The iconic Tower Works has won Best Altered Building at Leeds Architecture Awards. The category focused on a new use for an existing building and the judges thought Tower Works demonstrated very careful creative conservation of a historic and significant building. Designed by Bauman Lyons Architects Ltd for the Homes & Communities Agency, and managed and let by Creative Space Management, it has proved popular with occupiers.

The building was 50% pre-let by Creative Space Management prior to completion and reached 100% occupancy within the first year of operation with a total of 21 businesses taking space. There is now a waiting list for larger offices within the scheme which is hoped will trigger further development.

what our clients say

The vision workshop which Creative Space led at the outset of the project stimulated strong interest in the project and built a momentum of local support.
