Creative Space Management won a coveted Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) facilities management award at the recent ceremony held at London’s Intercontinental Hotel on Park Lane.
Against stiff competition from some of the biggest names in the property world, Creative Space won the award for Business Infrastructure and FM Strategy & Delivery ahead of Land Securities, Scottish Water and Jones Lang LaSalle. Their award was recognition of the work that they have undertaken on Round Foundry Media Centre on behalf of Yorkshire Forward, the Regional Development Agency for Yorkshire and Humber.
RICS judge, Peter McLennan said:
“What is singular about Round Foundry Media Centre is that it clearly demonstrates how committed professionals with a customer-focused appreciation of the service operations requirements for a particular sector, can transform a constrained building in a blighted neighbourhood, into an internationally acknowledged centre of excellence”.

We see the RICS award as an endorsement of our continuing efforts"
Toby Hyam, Managing Director of Creative Space Management said:
“I am delighted to win this award in just our second year of business. It is fantastic recognition for the huge amount of enthusiasm and expertise which our team have invested over the last 18 months. But great projects also require brilliant clients and the support and guidance of our client, Yorkshire Forward, has also been key to the success of the project.”
