Creative Space Management have recently been announced as one of four companies short-listed for the Business infrastructure and Facilities Management strategy and delivery award, as part of the 2007 Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Property Management Awards.
This prestigious award is by the world’s leading association of property professionals and is a major achievement for Creative Space which was only established in 2005.
Creative Space has specialist expertise in providing serviced office space for the Creative and Digital industries sector. The award is for their work at Round Foundry Media Centre for Yorkshire Forward. The Centre has helped over 100 companies and 300 people since it was established.
Toby Hyam, Managing Director of Creative Space Management said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for the company and for our staff team who have worked hard to improve standards and introduce new services for the businesses based at the Centre. This recognition could not have been achieved without our client, Yorkshire Forward, who have worked closely with us every step of the way. It reflects well on Leeds and the Yorkshire and Humber region that the services we provide for the Creative and Digital Industries sector can be recognized as nationally significant.”
Jim Farmery, Head of Innovation for Yorkshire Forward comments:
“As a flagship initiative for Yorkshire Forward, the Round Foundry Media Centre provides a fertile environment for small businesses to grow and develop new products and markets. The partnership being short listed for this award demonstrates the centre’s diverse appeal. Its ability to deliver to the needs of the Yorkshire and Humber digital industry has increased opportunities for collaboration whilst continuing to attract new businesses to the region, helping to grow our economy”.
The awards are held at the InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane London where Creative Space face tough competition from some of the biggest Facilities Management companies in the UK including Jones Lang Lasalle, Land Securities and Scottish Water.
