Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre, Rotherham

In 2008, Creative Space Management was appointed to take over the facilities management of one of the leading innovation and grow-on facilities for the advanced engineering and environmental energy sectors in the UK. Operating at the heart of the Advanced Manufacturing Park, the Technology Centre provides a public interface and hub for major global businesses such as Roll Royce helping to attract smaller high growth businesses to the rapidly growing cluster. The facility is comprised of a selection of workshops and office units spread over three large scale buildings. Due to the nature of materials being handled at the site Creative Space manages a range of complex H&S and legislative requirements including the managements of Europe’s only private Hydrogen Mini Grid. Since taking over operation of the AMP Technology Centre, the Creative Space team have significantly increased occupancy, turned a trading deficit into an operating profit, managed a substantial fit-out project and developed an additional building.  AMP now offers some of the best meeting, events and conference space in the North.

what our clients say

The energy, vision and enthusiasm that Toby and Paul brought to the project within a very challenging timescale were of great importance in helping GYBC secure grants of over £6m to enable works to begin on conversion of the Grade 1 listed St. George’s Chapel. The highly credible outline Business Plan has proved to be a sound basis for developing a viable enterprise, enabling work to commence on site with a high level of confidence.
